Salary: $235,000 - $310,000 USD

What you will do

• Serve as the primary finance partner to Engineering leaders, guiding vendor spend and resource allocation.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models tying OpEx to technical inputs like usage, capacity, and throughput.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning to translate technical roadmaps into resource plans.
• Drive build-vs-buy analyses, vendor consolidation, and contract negotiations to sharpen decision-making.
• Establish reporting dashboards and scorecards to track headcount and vendor spend efficiency.
• Partner cross-functionally with Strategic Finance, FP&A, and People teams to align with corporate financial strategy.

Requirements

• Experience in FP&A, OpEx, or G&A finance, preferably at high-growth technology companies.
• Proven track record of building driver-based financial models based on operational and technical inputs.
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite executives and board members.
• Comfort with technical concepts and a genuine interest in understanding AI infrastructure and tooling.
• Must be based in the USA to comply with the hybrid office policy.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Expertise with modern financial planning tools such as Anaplan or Pigment.
• Direct experience partnering with Engineering or R&D organizations as a finance business partner.
• Technical background or coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative field.
• Experience leading workforce modeling and headcount planning at scale.
