Director of Strategic Finance, YouVersion

Location: Edmond, Oklahoma, United States. On-site position.

What you will do

• Partner with YouVersion executive leadership on financial strategy, strategic planning, investment decisions, and organizational priorities.
• Build financial infrastructure, processes, and frameworks supporting growth, international expansion, entity structure, compliance, and cross-border financial management.
• Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives through scenario analysis, risk assessments, and recommendations.
• Analyze income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow trends and communicate actionable insights to leadership.
• Prepare financial updates and strategic briefings covering performance drivers, variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Finance Operations, FP&A, Donor Development, and functional leaders on reporting, forecasts, giving trends, and financial planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, financial analysis, or accounting.
• Experience structuring or supporting international operations, including cross-border financial management, compliance, and entity strategy.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, judgment, and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and translate complex financial data into actionable strategies.
• Ability to work on-site in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Nonprofit or ministry experience.
• Experience with complex, multi-entity, or international organizations.
