Director, FP&A (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, CA, USA; in-office

Salary: $200,000–$290,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and lead financial planning and analysis for the company.
• Develop unit economics analyses covering compute costs, GPU utilization, pricing, margins, products, and customer segments.
• Own the integrated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow model, including rolling forecasts, budgets, headcount planning, revenue, and bookings forecasts.
• Prepare executive dashboards, board materials, and investor reporting.
• Implement and automate FP&A, BI, and reporting infrastructure, including AI-enabled finance workflows.
• Lead financial diligence for vendor and CapEx commitments, lease-versus-buy analyses, and debt and equity capacity planning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or related finance roles.
• Exceptional financial modeling skills, including three-statement modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Ability to understand complex business models, identify economic drivers, and translate operational data into financial insights.
• Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to senior leadership, boards, and investors.
• Experience with FP&A, BI, or financial reporting tools and a strong interest in automation and AI.
• Ability to work in the Palo Alto, California office.
