What you will do

• Lead the strategy, governance, and delivery of U.S. benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
• Oversee daily operations of medical, retirement, disability, life, and voluntary benefits.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost trend analysis to identify risks or savings opportunities.
• Serve as the primary benefits lead for unionized populations, supporting collective bargaining with cost modeling.
• Partner with HR, Labor Relations, Legal, and Finance to provide fact-based consultation during negotiations.
• Direct annual benefits cycles, including renewals, open enrollment, audits, and filings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 7 years of progressive experience in U.S. Benefits, Total Rewards, or HR leadership.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Akron, Ohio for 2-3 days per week.
• No sponsorship available.
