TL;DR

Account Manager (SLED): Driving revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction across State, Local Government, Education, and nonprofit sectors with an accent on new-logo acquisition and account expansion. Focus on identifying public sector opportunities, navigating complex procurement structures, and integrating AI into sales workflows.

Location: Massachusetts, United States (Remote-friendly, but 30–35% travel required). Not open to candidates residing in Hawaii.

Salary: $220k - $240k USD (Total compensation mix of base and bonus)

What you will do

  • Identify and develop new logo opportunities within the SLED and Nonprofit space.
  • Cultivate executive-level relationships (Sr. Director+) with public sector stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and solution teams to develop customized cloud and SaaS offerings.
  • Manage the full account lifecycle, including renewals, cross-selling, and upselling.
  • Execute a metric-driven operating cadence to ensure pipeline coverage and quota attainment.
  • Translate business pain points into value-based solution messaging and ROI proofs.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles.
  • Proven experience selling to or supporting Public Sector, SLED, or nonprofit customers.
  • Background in enterprise technology, cloud, or SaaS solutions.
  • Strong history of quota attainment specifically focused on net new logos.
  • Practical experience applying AI to improve workflows, automate tasks, or enable better decision-making.
  • Experience navigating public sector procurement, budgeting, and contract structures.
