What you will do

• Lead a team of engineers to ship new functionality and iterate on product surfaces to improve customer experience.
• Translate product strategy into clear technical plans, milestones, and success metrics.
• Drive pragmatic system design for product-layer services, ensuring scalability, performance, and consistency.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and craft in a remote-first environment.
• Improve automated testing, release safety, and observability for customer-facing systems.
• Partner with Product, Program management, and Infrastructure teams to coordinate dependencies and ownership.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing high-performance software engineering teams.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience building products used by millions of users.
• Deep technical expertise in Linux systems internals and/or cloud systems engineering.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, and/or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, eventing, and cloud-native architecture.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience building AI/ML developer platforms or infrastructure-adjacent product layers.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, container runtimes, and GPU/accelerator workflows.
• Track record of scaling teams in high-growth environments.
• Open-source contributions to cloud-native or ML-adjacent projects.
