What you will do

  • Manage a multidisciplinary team of Backend, Frontend, and applied AI/Automation engineers.
  • Own the technical vision and roadmap for core support tools (custom and SaaS) and integrations.
  • Iterate on tools to boost fan experience and maintain high operational excellence across the platform.
  • Perform code and architecture reviews and provide design feedback to the team.
  • Collaborate with Technical and Product counterparts to align team direction with business goals.
  • Lead recruiting efforts to grow the engineering organization.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a strong focus on writing code.
  • 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager leading productive, motivated teams.
  • Proven track record of shipping industry-leading UX for high-stakes customer experiences.
  • Ability to define architecture and team processes without a pre-existing playbook.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with end-to-end customer support software within a marketplace product organization.
  • Hands-on experience with AI agent optimization, including tools and workflows for customer service agents.
