What you will do

• Set the product vision and strategy to shift Trust & Safety from reactive response to proactive fraud prevention.
• Own the roadmap for the Risk Engine, anomaly detection, and contributor investigation tooling.
• Balance fraud mitigation with growth to ensure a seamless experience for legitimate users.
• Analyze contributor behavior patterns to identify and neutralize emerging fraud vectors.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Ops, EPD, Finance, and executive leadership to resolve high-priority escalations.
• Build instrumentation and monitoring to measure fraud rates, false positives, and financial exposure.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of Product Management experience in the tech industry.
• 3–4 years of experience leading Trust & Safety, Fraud, or Risk product teams.
• Deep expertise in consumer, marketplace, or gig-economy fraud (experience in FinTech alone is not sufficient).
• Proven track record of building T&S systems at high-growth marketplace platforms like Uber, Airbnb, or eBay.
• High proficiency in SQL and strong analytical capabilities to define fraud metrics and detection logic.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative, engineering, or related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience building T&S systems with global coverage across diverse populations.
• Understanding of AI-enabled fraud vectors and evolving adversarial behavior.
• Experience with contributor or gig-economy platforms specifically.
• Experience working at early-to-growth-stage companies where T&S was built from scratch.
