What you will do

• Oversee and administer payroll for foreign entities across Canada, EMEA (UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands), and Asia-Pac (Singapore, Japan).
• Manage relationships with multiple payroll providers, overseeing service delivery, issue escalation, and overall vendor performance.
• Validate and review the accuracy of payroll runs and administer ad hoc payroll deductions or withholdings.
• Partner with HR and Finance to identify and implement opportunities for payroll process simplification.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Review foreign payroll tax filings and assist with responses to tax authority inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in payroll operations.
• 5+ years of payroll experience within a global organization.
• Proficiency in Workday Payroll is fundamental to success.
• Experience in a multinational organization, including payroll processing for foreign subsidiaries.
• Strong analytical mindset and advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication and relationship management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Asset Management or Financial Services industry.
• Chartered Institute for Payroll Professional (CIPP) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.
