What you will do

• Lead development of major projects and participate in cross-team initiatives for HR and Payroll products.
• Provide technical feedback, suggest product improvements, and maintain domain knowledge.
• Contribute to codebase, perform code reviews, debug and solve technical and business issues.
• Mentor and guide other engineers, participate in hiring and support rotations.
• Design and implement agentic workflows with focus on performance, accessibility, and API design.
• Build reusable automation workflows and ensure system correctness, security, and scalability through verification loops.

Requirements

• Must have strong engineering fundamentals and experience shipping secure, reliable, scalable production systems.
• Practical experience with automation or agentic workflows and system thinking.
• Experience with Postgres or similar databases and CI/CD tools like GitLab.
• Fluent English required; application and communication in English.
• Location: Open globally with no location restrictions.

Nice to have

• Experience with functional programming languages such as Elixir, Erlang, Scala, Clojure, or Haskell.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Next.js, React, Vue, or Angular.
