What you will do

• Design and implement RESTful APIs for mobile clients and microservices running on Kubernetes.
• Build scalable distributed systems using Go and cloud infrastructure components.
• Define and drive the technical strategy for User Growth and Monetization.
• Own the technical design, implementation, and overall success of complex projects.
• Participate in the backend on-call rotation (one week every 8-11 weeks).
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, ML, and Mobile engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience as a backend or service engineer.
• 6+ years of experience working within cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Proficiency in Go; knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Expert-level understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and cloud design patterns.
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical direction across multiple teams.
• Expert proficiency with Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, gRPC/Protobuf, Argo, and Kafka.
