TL;DR

Legal Intern (Corporate/Technology Law): Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda for corporate and regulatory matters with an accent on contract review and compliance. Focus on supporting data privacy initiatives, preparing legal summaries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Location: Hybrid (remote and onsite in San Jose, California)

Salary: $31.63 - $58.75 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and technology-related matters.
• Draft legal memoranda, issue summaries, contract reviews, and policy updates.
• Review, edit, and prepare agreements including NDAs and vendor contracts.
• Support compliance initiatives regarding data privacy and corporate governance.
• Prepare written summaries of legal developments for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide general administrative support.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a J.D. degree from an accredited law school (1L or 2L).
• Ability to work 40 hours a week (hybrid remote and onsite in San Jose) for an 8 to 12-week summer internship.
• Exceptional research, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and a strong academic record.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
