What you will do

• Maintain and calibrate electrical, electronic, and pneumatic control systems, including flow transmitters and control valves.
• Install and program electronic instruments and PLC logic using Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagrams.
• Troubleshoot electrical power supply circuits and repair motors, circuit breakers, and transformers.
• Create and update technical diagrams and plans for plant electrical and pneumatic controls.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-voltage switchgear and generator protective relaying.
• Monitor and control steam and chilled water systems, including boilers and feedwater.

Requirements

• Technical or trade school degree in electronics, computer science, or equivalent industry training.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience as a technician in central plant, power generation, or process plants.
• Ability to write and diagnose PLC logic in industry-standard languages.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and tolerate heights up to 100 feet.
• Location: Must be based in Baltimore, Maryland.

Nice to have

• Thorough understanding of electrical safety and Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Familiarity with principles of refrigeration and thermodynamics.
• Experience reading process flow diagrams and control/instrumentation diagrams.
• Proficiency with multi-meters, dead weight testers, and combustion analyzers.
