What you will do

  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair power plant equipment, including boilers and associated electrical control systems.
  • Perform testing and maintenance on low and medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motor starters, and power transformers.
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and other facility instrumentation for flow, pressure, and temperature.
  • Maintain and adjust Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and historian devices.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks, including routine calibration, thermography, and ultrasonic testing.
  • Participate in plant shutdown work and teardown inspections of electrical plant equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry 50lbs, work from heights, and operate in confined spaces.
  • Qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to Chester, PA.
