What you will do

  • Lead the design and integration of complex shipboard communication systems including telephony, messaging, and networking.
  • Architect the transition of COTS equipment to military-grade hardware capable of withstanding extreme heat, humidity, and shock.
  • Build custom server specifications tailored for the power and space constraints of naval installations.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of MIL-SPEC testing and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures in real-time.
  • Act as a technical liaison between Sales, the US Navy, and Product Design teams to influence the defense roadmap.
  • Apply National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for shipboard safety and EMP mitigation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent validated experience.
  • Extensive experience in systems integration within military or highly regulated industrial environments.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Project Management concepts and CAD drawings for design package facilitation.
  • Deep expertise in MIL-STD standards (Shock & Vibration, EMI/EMC, Environmental, Acoustics, and Human Factors).
  • Ability to work in a high-impact role that is not a standard desk job, involving deployment on advanced vessels.
