What you will do

• Perform engineering, design, maintenance, and installation of telecommunications and electronic systems.
• Manage RF communication systems including MF, HF, VHF, UHF, SATCOM, Radar, and Navigation systems.
• Develop and review engineering drawings to provide red-line corrections for as-built configurations.
• Plan and conduct tests to evaluate equipment performance and analyze results for redesign.
• Coordinate technical work across related activities to resolve complex project problems.
• Train and mentor lower-level technicians in system installation and maintenance.

Requirements

• Active Secret (or Interim Secret) Clearance.
• Associate degree in engineering technology or completion of USCG/DOD Technical “A” School.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance and installation of DOD or USCG Command, Control, and Communication Systems.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, stand, and bend.
