What you will do

• Manage and implement a wide variety of fire protection consulting projects.
• Coordinate and conduct building and fire code reviews, including plan reviews and site visits.
• Develop fire protection strategies, performance-based design approaches, and alternative solutions.
• Prepare and peer review technical reports for complex projects.
• Communicate effectively with project team members and clients to ensure project success.
• Develop new business opportunities through client engagement and technical expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (preferably Fire Protection), Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of professional Fire Protection Consulting experience.
• Strong analytical and creative thinking skills for code interpretation and design.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Eight (8) years of experience in Building Code and Fire Protection Consulting.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) designation, preferably in Fire Protection Engineering.
• NICET Level IV certification in any Fire Protection discipline.
• Proven experience as a "Doer Seller" with existing client connections.
• Experience managing large, complex projects.
