What you will do
- Direct and supervise remote technical support crews in accordance with organizational policies.
- Coordinate all technical aspects of remote operations, including camera and audio placement, setup, and breakdown.
- Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure peak performance and coordinate repairs with relevant departments.
- Manage manpower requirements and project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Act as a backup field technician and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Generate and post technical reports regarding equipment failures and repairs to the project server.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in electronic troubleshooting, installation, and repair.
- 2+ years of experience specifically within a television production environment.
- Strong understanding of AC/DC and RF electronics and the ability to read schematics.
- Ability to travel frequently and work in various weather conditions (outdoor/indoor).
- Effective oral communication and customer service skills.
