Salary: $135,000–$145,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead product and program initiatives for EMR and Practice Management systems from planning through post-launch optimization.
- Collaborate with customers and business analysts to gather requirements and ensure software enhancements meet business needs.
- Oversee project timelines for multiple concurrent initiatives across several EMR and PM systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, USCDI, and other healthcare regulatory standards.
- Act as a key liaison between development leadership and executives to report status and align cross-system programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Business, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in project or program management within healthcare IT.
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and Practice Management/Billing software in physician offices.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, revenue cycle management, and software integration.
- Knowledge of how AI (ML, Agentic AI, RPA, NLP) is deployed to improve EMR and Practice Management workflows.
- Must be based in Rhode Island, USA.
Nice to have
- Experience with major EMR/PM vendors such as Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Athenahealth, NextGen, or eClinicalWorks.
- Knowledge of interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR.
- Experience with software product launches in ambulatory care settings.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum, or SAFe).
