What you will do

• Lead projects involving dams, spillways, intakes, and other hydropower and hydraulic structure improvements.
• Manage and mentor junior staff, reviewing engineering assignments and technical work products.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical analyses.
• Coordinate with clients and internal departments to resolve design concerns and advance project delivery.
• Create written technical documents, drawings, and alternatives analyses using general engineering principles.
• Support business development and pursuit activities for Civil Works projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Active engineering registration or licensure (P.E. License).
• Must be able to complete pre-employment background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle records search.

Nice to have

• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with West Coast dams and hydropower clients.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulatory requirements for dams and hydropower.
