What you will do

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures in compliance with US codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
• Manage assigned scopes of work to ensure delivery within schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural requirements into design documents and models.
• Conduct calculation checks and maintain rigorous quality control practices.
• Apply engineering judgment to solve complex challenges, including seismic and wind analysis.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License is required.
• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
• Proficiency with engineering tools such as Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Must be based in or able to work in Houston, TX.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Structural Engineer (SE) License.
• Experience in semiconductor or industrial facility projects.
• Familiarity with STAAD and other structural analysis software.
