Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead program finance, cost control, and financial planning across a portfolio of defense and government programs.
• Partner with Program Managers to align finance, contracts, and engineering for disciplined execution.
• Establish consistent financial operating rhythms including forecasts, EAC/ETC reviews, and variance analysis.
• Develop and manage budgets, labor plans, and revenue/margin forecasts.
• Deliver executive-level insights and financial risk narratives for internal and customer reviews.
• Support proposals, pricing, and contract changes while ensuring compliance with funding limits and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in program finance, FP&A, or cost control within government contracting, defense, or aerospace environments.
• Proficiency in managing budgets, EAC, ETC, and variance analysis for complex programs.
• Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and percent complete revenue accrual methodologies.
• Experience with ERP tools such as Deltek Costpoint, Cobra, SAP, or Unanet.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret National Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Must be located in the DC/Falls Church, VA area or Mullica Hills, NJ area.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting DoD, Navy, or Intelligence Community customers at an executive level.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and Cost Accounting Standards.
• Experience with diverse contract types including Cost-plus, Fixed-price, IDIQ, and OTA.
• Active Top Secret National Security Clearance or active-duty military experience.
