TL;DR
Manager, Project Development (Renewable Energy): Leading the development of wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the Central region with an accent on the full project lifecycle from siting to commercial operation. Location: Must be based near one of the company offices in San Francisco, San Diego, Scottsdale, Houston, Denver, or Princeton
Salary: $134,000 - $190,000 USD

What you will do
- Manage the development of large-scale renewable energy projects from initial proposal and siting through to construction.
- Negotiate critical project contracts, including PPAs, GIAs, equipment supply agreements, and EPC contracts.
- Conduct due diligence on development-stage projects and portfolio acquisitions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate site layouts, technology options, and interconnection applications.
- Lead projects through financing diligence to secure cash equity, tax equity, and project debt.
- Manage project budgets and schedules while navigating internal stage-gate reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, finance, environmental science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the U.S. renewable energy industry with direct experience in utility-scale solar and/or wind projects.
- Proven experience in land development, landowner engagement, title resolution, and GIS.
- Knowledge of governmental mandates and environmental regulations in MISO, ERCOT, and SPP markets.
- Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.
- Must be authorized to work in the US; the company will not sponsor non-immigrant visas (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.).

- Advanced study in business, finance, law, environmental science, or public policy.
- Experience with battery energy storage systems.
