What you will do

• Review architectural and engineering designs and fire protection system shop drawings for over 50 buildings.
• Conduct construction inspections and issue final occupancy permits.
• Witness acceptance tests for fire alarm and sprinkler system modifications.
• Evaluate building conditions through life safety and hazard analysis surveys.
• Provide expert technical guidance based on NFPA codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience and a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Fire Protection Engineering.
• Experience supporting healthcare or laboratory environments, including knowledge of chemical hazards.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
