What you will do

• Serve as the primary engineering decision-maker for subsurface utility map creation to ensure optimal technical outcomes.
• Represent the company in client-facing settings, defending and explaining mapping outputs and engineering considerations.
• Take full ownership of the quality, accuracy, and consistency of final deliverables.
• Analyze and design utility systems for large-scale infrastructure projects to ensure integration with core product.
• Create and review conceptual utility plans and optimize engineering solutions to minimize disruption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering decisions with AI-driven mapping technologies.

Requirements

• Professional Engineering (PE) License.
• Bachelor’s or master's degree in civil engineering.
• 7-10 years of experience in Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), specifically on complex projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk and/or Bentley Systems, GIS, and various CAD formats.
• Ability to work within a technology-driven environment involving AI and mapping platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking and engineering judgment in ambiguous scenarios.
