What you will do

• Own the end-to-end new hire onboarding process, including HRIS administration and IT coordination.
• Manage employee lifecycle events such as role changes, promotions, international transfers, and offboarding.
• Maintain and audit employee records to ensure data accuracy and compliance across all systems.
• Oversee day-to-day San Jose office operations, including facilities, vendors, and space management.
• Provide administrative support to senior leadership and manage hardware inventory budgeting and lifecycle.
• Plan and execute team events, company offsites, and other employee experience initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in People Operations or HR administration, ideally in a tech startup.
• Must be based in San Jose, CA to meet the minimum 3-day-per-week on-site requirement.
• Strong organizational skills with a high commitment to data integrity and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in office management, workplace operations, or event planning.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate with high agency in an ambiguous environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Notion, Slack, TriNet, Lattice, Deel, and AI tools like Claude.
• Background in consumer tech, gaming, or hardware companies.
• Experience with people analytics, reporting, and dashboard maintenance.
