What you will do

• Underwrite and price Lead Umbrella and Excess Casualty policies for US construction-based risks.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and key industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal Claims, Actuarial, Risk Engineering, and Sales teams to achieve underwriting goals.
• Manage portfolio goals to ensure underwriting discipline and book profitability.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for construction-related accounts with accurate documentation.
• Support construction industry practice initiatives across the broader organization.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of casualty insurance industry underwriting experience, preferably in construction.
• Experience with wrap-up programs, project-specific placements, and annually renewable contractor programs.
• Established market relationships with construction casualty producers and agents.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Must be based in or able to work from Atlanta, GA, San Francisco, CA, or Warren, NJ.
