What you will do

• Build and lead the Solution Engineering function, hiring and developing 3-5 specialists across Presales and Post-Sales in the first year.
• Develop the technical playbook, including discovery frameworks, demo standards, POC methodologies, and migration architecture templates.
• Personally drive the technical close for strategic enterprise deals exceeding €1M ACV, managing senior customer relationships.
• Collaborate with the CRO and VP of Customer Success to optimize enterprise win rates, time-to-close, and renewal health.
• Act as the primary technical counterpart for customer CTOs, CIOs, and Heads of Engineering to translate product features into business value.
• Translate market gaps and enterprise requirements into structured product feedback for the Engineering team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Solution Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience building and leading technical functions (from IC to second-line leader).
• Strong technical foundation: ability to read OCPP traces, design reference architectures, and communicate API strategies.
• Experience in high-scale markets such as utilities, energy, mobility, fleet, or telco.
• English: Proficient (C1) level required for global communication.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybridly from London, Copenhagen, or Paris.

Nice to have

• Fluency in French, German, Dutch, or Danish.
• Experience integrating AI workflows into commercial or sales processes to drive better outcomes.
