What you will do

  • Lead fleet strategy and procurement, including vehicle exploration, high-value deals, remarketing, holding periods, and financing.
  • Own repair and maintenance operations, balancing internal workshops and external partnerships to minimise vehicle off-road time.
  • Command decentralised teams across multiple London depots, ensuring performance and safety standards.
  • Manage fleet admin, including insurance claims and PCN processing, streamlining high-volume tasks.
  • Drive compliance and safety to meet regulatory requirements and O-Licence standards.
  • Optimise total cost of ownership using data insights, reporting key metrics to executives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of fleet leadership experience, ideally in high-growth logistics.
  • Proven track record in decentralised management of teams and assets across multiple locations.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset for data-informed procurement, maintenance, and budgeting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management from mechanics to executives.
  • Unwavering ownership in solving open-ended problems for scalable fleet operations.
  • Embody company values and set cultural standards.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing electric vehicle fleets, including charging infrastructure and battery health.
