IT Intern

TL;DR

IT Intern (IT Operations): Supporting day-to-day IT operations, including desktop support and workstation provisioning with an accent on hardware troubleshooting and user account management. Focus on maintaining system stability, provisioning devices for new hires, and providing AV support for corporate events.

What you will do

• Provide direct technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware, software, network connectivity, and data access.
• Provision and configure Mac and Windows computers and prepare devices for new employees.
• Manage user accounts across various IT platforms including creation, modification, and removal.
• Provide AV support for meetings and corporate events, including video conferencing, audio systems, and digital signage.
• Perform operating system updates, software patches, and routine system maintenance.
• Create and update IT guides, procedures, and internal knowledge base articles.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of Mac and Windows operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting computers, devices, networks, and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the IT team.
• Must be based in Sunnyvale, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Experience with Kandji MDM, Zoom, or Mimecast.
