Business Development Analyst (Coffee)

TL;DR

Business Development Analyst (Coffee): Sourcing and coordinating specialty green coffee distribution from South and Central America with an accent on provider relations and market research. Focus on managing commercial documentation, translating marketing materials, and building sourcing networks through farm visits.

Location: Must be based in Colombia. Work hours: 7am - 3:30 pm Colombia time.

Salary: EUR 500 / month

What you will do

• Communicate with coffee providers to obtain pricing, farm information, and imagery.
• Conduct market research on specialty coffee producers, origins, and industry events.
• Develop and maintain relationships with green coffee providers in South and Central America.
• Prepare offer lists and other commercial documents related to the sourcing process.
• Prepare and translate marketing materials for external communication with partners.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely freight movement and travel to farms.

Requirements

• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Must be based in Colombia.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.
• Analytical mindset and ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
• Reliable laptop and consistent, fast internet connection.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or similar.
• Prior experience or knowledge of the specialty coffee industry.
• Persistent curiosity and a proactive approach to generating ideas.
