What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end development of scalable automotive audio technologies for amplifiers, head units, and processing platforms.
- Drive innovation and create new IP through competitive analysis and collaboration with leading universities.
- Build, coach, and retain a high-performing multidisciplinary team of technical experts.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including HW/SW, UX, and Tuning to shape the end-to-end audio experience.
- Manage ROI by balancing near-term research costs and risks with long-term productization value.
- Establish clear technical documentation and pragmatic engineering processes to improve delivery speed and quality.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in audio processing or a related field.
- 12-15+ years of experience in advanced audio technology, R&D, and innovation development.
- Expertise in acoustics, psychoacoustics, benchmarking, and sound quality within Automotive, Professional, or Consumer Audio industries.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with MATLAB or Python; knowledge of C/C++ (DSP) is a plus.
- Proven track record as a people leader with strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Ability to align stakeholders and explain complex technology initiatives to business leaders and customers.
