What you will do

• Build and lead a dedicated software design department transitioning to an agile, product-focused environment.
• Oversee organization and managers within the department, reporting to the Head of Design.
• Drive strategic initiatives, resource planning, and competence development to ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Lead the development of software applications for signal and data processing and customer-specific embedded design.
• Implement company-wide digitalization initiatives focusing on system design, implementation, and verification.
• Manage budgets and ensure employee well-being while maintaining a relentless focus on delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development, signal data processing, and embedded design.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coach managers with a track record of successful project deliveries.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a delivery-focused approach.
• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and customer focus.
• Relevant professional or postgraduate qualifications.
• Must pass a security vetting based on current security protection regulations.
