hirify.global is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and supporting ecosystem for urban mobility-as-a-service.

What you will do

• Manage a team of firmware, software, and systems engineers delivering high-impact designs across vehicle compute platforms.
• Oversee the entire project life cycle, from initial feasibility studies to product rollout and ongoing support.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, electrical engineering, power, vehicle systems integration, safety, and autonomy teams.
• Work with external automotive providers and vendors to select and integrate appropriate technical solutions.
• Represent the Software Platforms and Product organization on internal technical and product boards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years specifically in engineering management.
• Hands-on experience with firmware engineering, including design, bring-up, feature development, and deployment.
• Experience with automotive or safety-critical software development (e.g., ISO 26262), including HARA and FMEA processes.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Foster City, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience designing complex engineering systems with functions across multiple ECUs.
• Knowledge of networking and time synchronization considerations.
