What you will do

• Drive daily general ledger accounting and month-end close processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage AP, corporate credit cards, and employee reimbursements, collaborating with vendors and stakeholders.
• Perform account reconciliations for prepaids, fixed assets, allocations, and ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
• Execute monthly variance analysis and GAAP management reporting.
• Implement AI-enabled automation to streamline accounting workflows and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a high-growth startup or public accounting firm.
• Strong proficiency in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with Brex, NetSuite, Airbase, and Numeric.
