What you will do

• Lead global SOX financial controls assessments and other operational audits and investigations.
• Develop and maintain Risk and Control Matrices (RCM), process flowcharts, and detailed testing procedures.
• Collaborate on automation projects and system implementation reviews leveraging the latest product features.
• Perform root cause analysis for control deficiencies and collaborate with stakeholders on corrective actions.
• Prepare well-documented testing workpapers and comprehensive audit reports.
• Work with the SOX IT team to analyze new automations and their impact on internal financial controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or CIA.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in SOX and/or Internal Audit.
• Must be located in or able to work hybrid in Menlo Park, CA.
• Strong logical thinking and data analytic skills for complex problem solving.
• Passion for the application of AI in financial and operational auditing.

Nice to have

• Prior auditing experience with a Big 4 firm or similar environment.
• Experience working within cloud-based or SaaS companies.
• Working knowledge of ITGCs and ITACs.
