Salary: $102,600 - $123,000

What you will do

• Review complex customer contracts for ASC 606 compliance and document technical policy positions.
• Draft technical accounting memos and communicate conclusions to internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to automate revenue processes and adopt new accounting systems.
• Manage month-end close activities, revenue reporting, and variance analysis.
• Mentor junior team members on technical accounting principles and professional development.
• Integrate generative AI tools into accounting workflows to increase efficiency in research and drafting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field.
• 4+ years of experience in technical revenue accounting (SaaS and public accounting experience preferred).
• Deep practical knowledge of ASC 606, including standalone selling price and variable consideration.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong proficiency using generative AI tools.
• Must be based in or be able to work from the Raleigh, NC office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• CPA license.
• Experience with Workday Financials, Salesforce, or Zuora.
