What you will do

• Manage revenue accounting processes in accordance with ASC 606, including contract review and performance obligation assessment.
• Execute monthly and quarterly revenue close activities ensuring compliance with US GAAP and public company reporting requirements.
• Own the revenue subledger and maintain reconciliations for revenue-related balance sheet accounts.
• Support SOX 404 controls by documenting processes, maintaining evidence, and participating in walkthroughs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and FP&A to ensure appropriate revenue treatment for standard and nonstandard terms.
• Prepare quarterly and annual revenue disclosures for public filings and serve as a primary contact for external auditors.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Sandy, UT on a hybrid basis.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a multi-region SaaS environment.
• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional background in a public company or Big 4 firm.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financials or a comparable cloud ERP.
