TL;DR

Senior Revenue Accountant (Finance): Managing revenue journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for healthcare value-based care programs with an accent on U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 compliance. Focus on performing contractual reviews for Health Plan contracts and maintaining high-accuracy systems of record.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote or Bethesda, MD office)

What you will do

  • Prepare month-end reporting workbooks, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Perform ASC 606 Analysis for new revenue contracts and revenue streams.
  • Maintain accurate financial records to ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Conduct month-end review of financial statements and prepare variance analysis.
  • Support external audit requests and maintain detailed records of prepaids and bad debt allowances.
  • Collaborate across the company on contractual reviews related to Financial Offers and Health Plan contracts.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting and/or CPA certification.
  • 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably with public companies.
  • Must be located within the United States.
  • 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., health plans, hospitals, or government).
  • Proven track record in General Ledger postings and account reconciliations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Netsuite.
  • Advanced expertise in Excel or Google Sheets for complex incentive calculations.
