TL;DR

A220 Flight Instructor (Non-Seniority List): Deliver first-rate instructions for Initial, Recurrent, Upgrade, and Requalification pilot curriculums in classroom, FTD, and FFS with an accent on normal, abnormal, emergency procedures, aircraft systems, and performance. Focus on evaluating students objectively, ensuring regulatory compliance, and standardizing training content.

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. Must be locally based in the training facility’s area and responsible for own transportation. Authorization to work in the United States required. Must pass DOT drug test, TSA criminal check, and Breeze background check.

What you will do

• Represent Breeze and Training Department professionally while evaluating and training pilots fairly and objectively.
• Deliver simulator and ground training on A220 procedures, systems, performance, and general subjects under FAA-approved program.
• Prepare course content, complete paperwork timely, and communicate company policies to line pilots.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating simulator training and department improvements.
• Maintain required airman certificates, currency via line-observation, and professional demeanor.

Requirements

• Unrestricted FAA ATP certificate with airplane multi-engine class rating.
• Previous US Part 121 pilot experience; at least 23 years old.
• Authorization to work in the United States; ability to complete Breeze initial pilot training.
• Strong communication, organization, time management; ability to work under pressure and varied hours.
• Physical ability: lift 40 lbs, navigate stairs/bridge/sim unassisted, fit through escape hatches.
• Read, write, speak, understand English fluently; pass pre-employment drug test and background checks.

Nice to have

• Airbus A220 Type Rating.
• Prior simulator instructor, line check pilot, or aviation training experience.
• Experience in training program planning, development, and presentation.
