What you will do

• Lead end-to-end IT projects encompassing network infrastructure, microwave networks, and data center operations.
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Implement iterative deployment strategies to minimize disruptions during transitions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Conduct regular site visits to utility and infrastructure locations to validate field conditions and design alignment.
• Mentor junior project managers and drive adoption of project management best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex IT projects.
• Expertise in network infrastructure (microwave, common facilities) and data center technologies (compute, storage).
• Strong knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
• Must be based in the Oakland, CA area and have the ability to drive to job sites.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the utility or energy sector.
• Experience with Planisware.
• PMP or Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe).
