What you will do

• Research, plan, and design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems.
• Optimize production equipment and automation using CAD, PLC, HMI, vision, motion, and robotics software.
• Handle hardwire design, programming, and commissioning of automation systems.
• Manage the specification and procurement of hardware and evaluate safety systems.
• Supervise 2-10 internal skilled trades workers and external contractors, including training and performance appraisal.
• Direct fabrication and installation activities to ensure conformity with engineering designs and customer specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC machine controls, robotics, and blueprint interpretation.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship for employment-based visas is not available.
