What you will do

• Support new program execution including SOR preparation, robotics design, and equipment buyoff.
• Design, integrate, and install control systems to ensure successful launches and long-term performance.
• Provide technical support for existing programs through troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Design and review electrical control systems in accordance with corporate standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in engineering, operations, and maintenance to resolve issues.
• Implement advanced process technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering (ME) or plant assignments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with plant floor controls design, debug, and implementation on production equipment.
• Working knowledge of Rockwell PLCs, Fanuc robot programming, and CNC equipment (e.g., Siemens Sinumerik).
• Familiarity with Production Monitoring, Andon Systems, and Common Controls standards.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Warren, Michigan for full-time onsite work.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of controls architecture and high-volume manufacturing processes.
• Experience with plant-floor data collection tools and manufacturing information systems.
• Familiarity with Matrix vision system programming.
