Salary: $126,800–$202,900

What you will do

• Interface with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams to generate concepts and proposals for PLC-based solutions.
• Design and develop programs and procedures for customer demonstrations.
• Develop, debug, and maintain large-scale PLC implementations for automated test equipment (ATE).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer problems in collaboration with SW, HW, QA, and Manufacturing.
• Manage outsourced PLC development teams and estimate project costs for prospective solutions.
• Travel to customer locations (up to 10% of the time).

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency with Siemens PLC programming, TIA Portal, and Step 7.
• Strong automation troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Must be local to North Reading, MA; no relocation assistance available.
• Must meet ITAR restrictions (US Citizen, Permanent Resident, Asylee, or Refugee).

Nice to have

• Experience with Allen Bradley or Beckhoff PLC.
• Proven experience managing outsourced PLC development teams.
