What you will do

• Own the overall quality of product deliverables and lead multiple quality initiatives in collaboration with development managers.
• Recommend and implement tools and technologies to modernize and scale automation and regression testing.
• Define and continuously improve QE processes and metrics to ensure alignment with business and customer needs.
• Partner with engineering managers to drive agile practices such as TDD, BDD, and an automation-first strategy.
• Integrate quality checks early in the development lifecycle and ensure tight integration into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Analyze business functions to derive comprehensive test scenarios, including API and integration testing.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in Software QE, including 3+ years leading QE teams.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in San Francisco or Milpitas, California.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with modern test automation frameworks and SQL for database testing.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git) and code coverage tools like Sonar.
• Experience managing cross-functional quality organizations and working with globally distributed teams.
