Location: Must be locally located in Mesa, Arizona (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote)

What you will do

• Engineer and manage L4–L7 load balancing solutions (F5 BIG-IP, Citrix ADC, A10) to support high-availability applications.
• Design traffic management strategies including SSL offload, content switching, GSLB, and application acceleration.
• Optimize application performance through tuning of persistence profiles, health monitors, and iRules/policies.
• Automate load balancer provisioning and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, or vendor APIs.
• Implement and maintain secure traffic flows, including WAF integration and DDoS mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and serve as an enterprise-wide authority on network technology standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering with a strong focus on load balancing and application delivery.
• Deep expertise in L4–L7 networking concepts, including HTTP/S, TCP optimization, and SSL/TLS.
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS), Citrix ADC, or A10.
• Experience with cloud load balancing in AWS (ALB/NLB) or Azure (Application Gateway/Front Door).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Must be locally located and comfortable working a 3 days in office hybrid model in Mesa, Arizona.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with web application security concepts including WAF, OWASP Top 10, and zero-trust principles.
• Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
