What you will do

• Lead the transition toward Network as Code (NaC) using version-controlled CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and own critical SLOs for network performance, focusing on latency and throughput.
• Design and scale the global backbone connecting on-prem data centers, test tracks, and GCP.
• Optimize end-to-end data paths to move petabytes of sensor data into cloud runtimes.
• Implement zero-trust network architectures with end-to-end encryption.
• Manage error budgets and act as the final escalation point for complex network outages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale enterprise, service provider networking, or SRE roles.
• Expert knowledge of high-performance networking (BGP, EVPN, VXLAN) and data center fabrics.
• Advanced proficiency in GCP Cloud Networking (VPC design, Cloud Armor, Cloud Load Balancing).
• Deep experience with Network Automation tools including Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Go.
• Professional-level certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Arista ACE, or Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer.
