Summer Intern - Wind Development (Wind Energy)

What you will do

• Review wind leases and easements and record deviations in the master tracker.
• Support implementation of the land management tool through data entry, quality checks, and process documentation.
• Review landowner information and verify the completeness and accuracy of records.
• Support data integrity across development asset records.
• Assist Wind Developers with assigned project development tasks.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Environmental Studies, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and communicate findings clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic data modeling.
• High attention to detail and comfort working with master data, reports, and land records.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Employment requires completion of US work authorization verification through Form I-9 and E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Basic understanding of GIS and GIS processes.
