Location: Must be based in San Francisco (Flexible hybrid model: 3 days per week on-site)

Salary: $250,000 - $283,000

What you will do

• Set the strategy for the Internal Platform team and oversee the development of tools used by all hirify.global engineers.
• Lead and manage two specialized pods: Developer Platform and Application Platform.
• Build systems for developing, building, testing, deploying, observing, and alerting on software and systems.
• Design and implement base protocols, conventions, and common libraries for backend runtimes including Go, Scala, Ruby, and Python.
• Partner with Foundation, product, and engineering leadership to align technical direction.
• Mentor and grow the managers and tech leads within the internal platform organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco and able to work on-site 3 days per week.
• Experience leading engineering teams in a platform, foundation, or infrastructure capacity.
• Proven ability to manage and grow other managers and technical leads.
• Technical expertise in CI/CD, telemetry, and networking foundational systems.
• Experience working with backend runtimes like Go, Scala, Ruby, or Python.
