What you will do

• Execute commissioning for medium and low voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear, transformers, UPS, and generators.
• Perform point-to-point wiring checks, functional testing, calibration, and system integration verification.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup phases.
• Develop and execute detailed commissioning test procedures, scripts, and documentation.
• Collaborate with EPC contractors and OEM vendors to coordinate energization sequences.
• Maintain accurate as-built documentation and support training for operations and maintenance teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of electrical commissioning or field technician experience in data centers or large industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V, including switchgear and protective relaying.
• Proficiency with commissioning test equipment such as meggers, multimeters, and power quality analyzers.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, and NETA codes and standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Must be able to work onsite in Memphis, TN or Southaven, MS and travel extensively.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with hyperscale data center projects.
• NETA certification (Level II or higher) or Journeyman Electrician license.
• Knowledge of PLC/controls troubleshooting and SCADA systems.
• Proficiency with commissioning management software (e.g., CxPro, Procore).
• Technical degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
